The Jackals and allies have been invited to attend a 'Parley' by the Dread Pirate Le'Chuck.
A letter was received by the Overtyrant Lujayne and it reads as follows;
Greetings Jackals,
Let me introduce myself, I am the Pirate Lord known as the Dread Pirate Le’Chuck. I have given this Letter amongst the remaining Crew that we “rescued” a Few months ago. From the reports I have received our previous correspondence with Maroof was not well received. Please let me offer my apologies for this. As instructed, I have returned the crew to you alongside their vessel that I have applied basic repairs to at my expense. As you can see the crew are unharmed and have been treated well, a fate that would not have been granted if the other forces had claimed them. I do so as a sign of good will, in the hope that we can reach an understanding.
Please note this crew escaped from your Navy after it was bewitched by the Sirens that plague the northern scarab isles. These creatures are no friends of ours and seek to force their way into our ranks. We have resisted their attempts at this time, as they do not wish to draw attention to their operations by directly attacking our coves in all out war. However recent events have led them to operate more openly, and their attempts have become more bold.
Although you see us as bandits and robbers (which we proudly are), we also provide some uses. We also help deal with foreign pirates and monsters, that hunt in our territory, and can act as an early warning system for larger threats coming from the North. Without us controlling the operations, you also run the risk of more chaotic forces taking control.
We also can assist you in your conflict against the Sirens.
All we require is some time to recover from your recent assault. You are free to continue to defend and hunt any vessel still operating in the noble art of piracy in the seas. Just agree not to assault our homelands.
In these regards, I formally invite you to join us in a few months to discuss an alliance between our people. An event has been called amongst our people to elect a new Pirate King and a Parley has been announced. During these times I invite you to join us as a guest of mine. You will, as a result, be guaranteed protection from us and the other Pirate Crews as covered by the code of Parley. As you will be expected to abide by the code of Parley in return, and abstain from causing major harm to others covered by Parley, unless you wish to face the consequences. I advise you take my warning not to break the code seriously as none here dare to break the code.
Maybe we can get to know each other better and come to an understanding. You may also wish to take this time to gather information on the Sirens who follow the Lord Katulu, which we can aid you in. A Beacon named “Scarab Isles” has bene allowed to be placed to ease your travel for those who choose not to exercise their sea legs.

The Overtyrant Lujayne has requested that any able bodied Jackals or allies that are free and able to assist her at this so called pirate event, do so. this will be a chance for us to gather information on our enemies and hopefully find a new ally to strike against those that would bring harm to the empire of the Southlands.

Evening: Chicken (or chicken substitute) in a pesto cream sauce (or not) served with rice and steamed vegetables, with cake and custard for pudding.
Supper (11pm till time out): Build-your-own toasted sandwiches, with options of cheese, vegan cheese, ham, onion and mushroom (gluten free bread will be available)
Saturday
Breakfast: Sausages, bacon, vegan sausages, potato waffle, fried bread, boiled egg, baked beans, tomato and a selection of cereals.
Lunch: Macaroni cheese (gluten free and vegan options if required) topped with various flavour options (e.g. bacon bits, fried shallots, garlic) served with plenty of green salad.
Evening: Pork Loin (or vegan alternative) roast dinner (roast potatoes, yorkshires, stuffing, 3 veg and gravy) with cheesecake for desert (gluten/dairy free cheesecake will be available)
Supper (11pm till time out): Build-your-own toasted sandwiches, with options of cheese, vegan cheese, ham, onion and mushroom (gluten free bread will be available).
Sunday
